A MESSAGE
FROM STEVE
My family thanks you for all
your support. Please Keep coming to the live shows . A new
CD and a full length DVD have been in the works for a long
time. We will need a lot of help to make this a success so
this is a good time to e-mail me and get on the mailing list.
The Guest book section is still closed to new entries until
we can find a way to decisively keep the spammers from trying
to take over! Anyway so keep the e-mails coming; I do answer
them unless they get dropped by the bulk Spam filter (The
subject space needs to be filled out).
3 Sons Records congratulates
Steve Connolly for placing in the top 2% in the prestigious
John Lennon Songwriting Contest out of over 25,000 entries
worldwide. Steve's original song, "Good Night" found
on his CD, "Truth" was placed in this Honorable
Mention category by celebrities like Elton John, Santana,
Tim McGraw, Sean Combs, and the contest creator is none other
than Yoko Ono. This also meant that Steve's song made it to
the top 50 entries in his
category out of several thousand songs. Steve acknowledged
that it was Elvis Presley and his children which inspired
him to continue to write music. Right on!

Arthur Fiedler, Conductor
of the Boston Pops from 1929 to 1979 tried unsuccessfullyto
fulfill his desire to have Elvis performs with his orchestra
and record an album for RCA Records. Elvis shared the same desire
but the project though inspired never came to be.
